One of the world's most popular language-learning applications, Duolingo currently boasts a total of 96 language courses in more than 34 native tongues in its gamified, bite-sized lessons. The company operates its website and mobile app based on the freemium model, which makes its platforms accessible with and without charges. This is in line with the company's belief that "free education will really change the world".

Along with the emergence of single language-learning apps and intelligent AI translation technology, Duolingo is faced with the challenge to inspire the younger, tech-savvy generation to weave language-learning into their daily routines. However, as personal skills of any kind are increasingly essential in the rapidly competitive modern era, there is an opportunity for Duolingo to reinstate its value as the best language-learning aid for aspiring youngsters.

The concept of our campaign is to promote Duolingo as a free language-learning platform for youths to learn a new language as a skill that can add different values into their daily lives. By illustrating the different aspects of benefits a Duolingo user can attain, we hope to establish a sense of relativity to learn a new language within young adults.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media sponsored ads, which will be on Instagram and Facebook, are essential in connecting with our tech-savvy target audience. The vibrant colour scheme used in our visual poster is based on Duolingo's official colour palette and was chosen to portray the fun of learning languages with the app.
SCHOOL POSTER
Printed posters will be placed at school or college halls to target young adults.
BILLBOARD AD
Billboard ads will be showcased at busy public transportation hubs like bus stops, railway stations, etc. that are frequented by young students.
